Take two simple phone calls. A client from Rio De Janeiro asking about transport infrastructure in Spain, a Middle Eastern client looking for specific line and system data in the UK.

The reason for these calls, was our sister company, Mainspring running media and events across the Light Rail & Metro industry. Whilst Mainspring had a lot of global knowledge, or more importantly the contacts to find it, it was very clear that there was no central library for data, certainly no way to search for it, and more importantly no way to filter and interpret it.

Bringing that data together,  coupled with over 100 years of combined industry experience in one single platform led to the development of the Light Rail and Metro data portal.
